Texas Pie Company Mini Pastry Shells, 8 ct has 8 servings per pack. Pastry Shells: Bake at 325˚F for 35 minutes Peppered Ham and Cheese Quiche: Ingredients 8 Texas Pie Company Pastry Shells 8 large eggs (divided use) 1 cup heavy whipping cream 1 tsp kosher salt 1 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper 1 cup black pepper hickory smoked ham, diced into small cubes 1 cup shredded colby jack cheese Instructions 1. Preheat oven to 350˚F. 2. Brush pie shells with 2 beaten eggs and place onto a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Bake shells for 15 to 20 minutes. 3. While shells bake, in a bowl add remaining 6 eggs, heavy cream, salt & pepper and whisk. 4. Remove shells from oven, allow to cool, and add ham and cheese to each one. Pour egg over ham and cheese to just below top of shell. 5. Bake for additional 15 to 20 minutes or until egg is fully set and nicely browned. Remove and allow to cool before serving. Homemade Cherry Pie Ingredients 8 Texas Pie Company Pastry Shells 2 lb frozen sweet cherries, slightly thawed 1/2 cup all purpose flour 2 Tbsp cornstarch 1 cup sugar 1 1/2 tsp lemon zest 1 tsp kosher salt 1 tsp vanilla extract Instructions 1. Preheat oven to 350˚F. 2. Place pastry shells onto a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Bake shells for 20 to 25 minutes, remove and allow to cool. 3. In a large bowl, combine cherries, flour, cornstarch, sugar, lemon zest, salt and vanilla extract. 4. Add cherry filling to just below top of shell. 5. Bake pies for an additional 15 minutes or until filling is bubbling. Remove and allow to cool before serving.
