Servings: 1 serving; 1/4 cup oats; 3/4 cup water; pinch salt. 2 servings; 1/2 cup oats; 1-1/2 cups water; pinch salt. 3 servings; 3/4 cup oats; 2-1/4 cups water; 1/4 tsp salt. 4 servings; 1 cup oats; 3 cups water; 1/4 salt. Steel Cut Oats in The Slow Cooker: Combine 4 cups water, 1 cup oats and = tsp salt in a 4-6 quarts slow cooker. Cover with lid and cook on low for 7-8 hours or overnight. Makes 4 servings.
