BUTTERSCOTCH APPLE ROLLS Ingredients: 1 can Hill Country Fare TM Apple Pie Filling and Topping 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed 1/2 cup dry roasted almonds with sea salt, crushed 1 cup butterscotch chips 1. Preheat oven to 425°F and spray muffin tin with cooking spray. 2. Puree apple pie filling in a food processor until smooth. Pour into a bowl and set aside. 3. Lightly dust work surface with flour and add as needed to keep dough from sticking. Roll out puff pastry dough into a rectangular shape. 4. Spread a thin layer of apple puree over entire surface. Sprinkle almonds and butterscotch chips over surface evenly and gently roll up dough as tightly as possible. 5. Cut into approximately 2 inch rolls and place into muffin trays, cut side facing up. 6. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until rolls are puffy and golden brown. Allow to cool for at least 20 minutes before serving. SIMPLE APPLE PIE Bring refrigerated pie crusts to room temperature per package instructions. Place bottom crust into a 9-inch pie tin and press gently into sides. Prick bottom and sides with a fork for ventilation. Fill with 1 to 2 cans of apple pie filling. Place top crust and crimp as desired. Cut slits for ventilation. Cover edges with foil to prevent burning. Bake at 425 °F for 35-45 min or until crust is golden brown.
